Why did you choose to do a show about Harry Potter?
Mary Reagan: Who wouldn’t want to do a show about Harry Potter?! It’s a great excuse to reread the books and fun to be able to share them with lots of other people.
MacKenzie: Because the muggle world we live in needs to be reminded of magic so that one day wizards can come out and be accepted by our society.

What is your favorite tidbit included in the story?
MacKenzie: My favorite tidbit is everything involving Sirius and everything involving hippogriffs. I wish I had one.
Mary Reagan: I love how thought out the whole series is from start to finish. All the little details, even ones you didn’t think mattered, add up in the last book.

Which book has been your favorite to read on air?
Mary Reagan: Mine is definitely the third book, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azakaban. It’s so exciting and Sirius Black is one of my favorite characters. It’s also my favorite book of the series so I am a little biased.
MacKenzie: My favorite book to read has probably been the 7th, the one we are reading now. It is just so very intense and every corner that are details I have forgotten. It is also so fun to see how all the clues lineup leading to the end.
Tell us why you love DJing on KRLX!
MacKenzie: It’s a great experience to have fun and the most unique I have ever communicated with anyone. You have no idea who is listening or how many people or what they think of the show but you just have to be you and continue and entertain yourselves. I think if you really believe in how you are presenting yourself, then odds are someone else is enjoying it just as much.
Mary Reagan: It’s fun and exciting to be able to share music and stories that you love with other people. I love getting calls from Northfield residents saying that they love what you are doing. Also, even though the DJs rarely come together, KRLX creates this giant community of people who all love and appreciate radio.
