Some of my favorite songs are those that seem to have the magical ability to fit whatever mood I’m in; those that can heighten any sadness or maintain the high energy. Maybe those songs say more about my weird ability to hype up to a song that in other circumstances can make me tear up (or just become temporarily more deep and pensive, if we’re being less dramatic). Regardless, I think that their fluidity should be given its due appreciation.
A few of my favorites in this fit-any (most)-vibe “genre” include:
Katie Queen Of Tennessee – The Apache Relay
Coffee – Sylvan Esso
Hero – Family of the Year
Time Is Dancing – Ben Howard
Heavy Heart – Jamestown Revival
Cold Canary Gaslight – Martin O’Reilly and the Old Soul Orchestra
